Halstead Marathon. Ran with Carl the whole way round & crossed the finish line together. Really enjoyed running & chatting all the way round. Three loo stops.Got a groin strain at about 8 miles. It was tough but managed to knock over 4 minutes off the VLM time. Since the heart attack my marathons only seem to be about 20 minutes slower than before the heart attack. I've got to be pleased with that. I still feel that I might have a better marathon in me on the right day & on the right course.
