Gloucester New Year 10
Overall pretty cheesed off with today's effort. Despite streaming with a cold, I ran ok for first 8 miles but just as the friendly 2 mile downhill run in started I developed a painful stitch which probably cost me a good minute as I just couldn't run it off. Race was delayed by half an hour because they ran out of race numbers, which was irritating, and then the finish was a good (freezing) 10 minute run away from the race HQ. I guess a good training effort but had hoped for something rather better.
