First time running a race on an indoor track, 200 m reps galore. I was secretly hoping for getting about 35 reps in for 15,000 m but we exceeded my expectations by a lot and clocked 80 laps together for 16,003 metres. Olivia ran the anchor lap and put down a sub-20 s 100 m sprint at the end while I started strong with a 300 m rep to kick us off. Unfortunately, I forgot to put my Stryd pod on so had to rely on Garmin's indoor track mode which sold me really short - giving me only about 7 km when I ran probably close to 9000 with the ins and outs of each lap. Luckily, there is such a thing as a TCX distance editor where you can input your actual distance and it corrects the lap distances. Probably still not quite accurate but closer to the truth.

I am quite blown away by the fact that we covered 10 miles in a hour, that's 6 m/m or 3:45 per km or thereabouts. Crazy! I didn't know that my legs could go that fast for that long.
