Malaga half. Very disappointed that my legs gave up around mile 9. Once that happens there's no getting past it no matter what you do. It's like someone straps concrete blocks to your legs. My training was spot on, I improved my nutrition and fuelling and still this keeps happening. I think I have to accept I'm not cut out for this distance and I'll now return to doing what I do best which is 5K and maybe a few 10K's.
It was still a great experience and fantastically organised so no regrets as training got me through the winter
