Leipziger Halbmarathon am Völki
Unexpectedly fast race for me; I thought I could maybe do about 1:45 if my muscles don't go on strike. The first km in 4:43 didn't feel very hard so I decided that I was going for it based on power. 185 +/-5 was my target range, I managed to stick to that mostly but towards the end, my legs got heavy. Still finished under 1:42 so well below my optimistic target. Really happy with that; fastest HM in 4 years (twice under 1:40 in 2018 in spring). And that sleep deprived as I couldn't sleep long, was wide awake at 6 am. Looking good for a sub 1:40 next spring and then 3:30 in the marathon. Bring it on!

Thank you, Steve NR. I hadn't noticed that there was an UTMOST WAVA league until you mentioned it. This race was a surprise, I didn't think I could run under 1:45 but then it just happened :)
