Delighted with myself!!

Richmond Park Marathon. Was really nervous in week coming up to it, thinking it was too much of a step up after last week's 20 miler. On the day felt quite relaxed though.

First few miles went okay. Was a hot day and I walked all the hills. After about 7/8 miles was feeling it a bit and decided to take a short walk break after every mile. Found the middle few miles a bit tough but once I got to 17 miles I knew I was in the single figures and once I got to 20 miles it was all new miles and I felt happy, knowing I would finish.

Happy with the time as it was a training run with no taper etc.
