This race managed to be uphill all the way! They said a few gentle hills - yeah like each one lasting about 1.5km, then 50m back down a steep hill & then up again. The only sustained downhill was at the end so at least I looked like I was running for the photos. I had been doing lots more training so was hoping for a better time but managed to be nearly 5 minutes outside my previous best. Never mind, onwards & upwards (well not too much upwards)
