It was measured acurataly Anthony and certified. Its spot on. There were many points wher runners could cut corners and not follow the racing line which I suspect people did

Realistically though, my garmin probably lost signal in the woody bit
AJ -fair comment, hadn't thought of that, interesting though I had 5.02 but I'm a geek and was looking at the line
Also a GPS only takes a measurement every few seconds and such will shorten the distance at corners. If the GPS points are accurate then the distance given will always be short as it assumes a straight line between them.
Great race yet again, would have let the accuracy lie and enjoyed another big step forward!
