Watch didn't pick up the signal until the corner below the swimming pool, so it wouldn't let me start until then. It gives me 2.77 in 19:58, which is 7:12/mile - and also means that I did the other 0.33 in 2:43, which is 8:13/mile. Notes from today: a warm up would be good; start closer to the front; get your frigging watch ready. Compared to six weeks ago when I ran this exact time, I think I felt a good deal better though - no stitches, enough breath to talk to every runner I passed. Improvement coming next week at Beeston.
