Notes & Comments

Notts AAA 2nd League Race. Good turn out for KADS, 11 men and 5 women - just short of 2 teams for both. Windy night, hard going for half the race. Started very steady (behind Kev), slowly worked my way up to pace. Saw Matt W about 30 secs ahead, decided to try and catch him. Ran steadily through 2 and 3 miles, out onto road. Slowly caught up with Matt, using 2 Notts AC women to get me there. Went past him and felt strong in final mile, despite strong headwind. Even raised a sprint to take one bloke on the line. 255th.
