bigfatjoe Swim my aim is 37 minutes with 4 minutes in transition - it is a reaonably short transition, but I will take a bit of time.
Bike my aim is 2:35 having done 2:42 in training.  Maybe 2:30 if I really pushed it, but 36kph sounds too fast.  Transition to run of 2 minutes.
That then leaves the run... with the weather being extremely hot I will be happy with 1:55 to sneak me under 5:15 for the race.
This is an ambitious target, but what the hell, I know what I want!
The new problem... my wave start time is last (6.54am after 6am gun time).  This means I will be overtaking a lot of people on the bike which will impact drafting regulations and may slow me down (hopefully not though).  The other issue is that it will be that much hotter on the run...  hopefully I can still make sub 5:15, but definitely sub 5:30.
