Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Blister My first triathlon and I really enjoyed it; found the transitions strange and the bike to the run very hard because your legs feel like lead. Splits were: swim 11:51 (216th), bike 1:01:02 (119th), run 27:56 (50th). The swim was the hardest part for me since I can't swim properly; hence I was almost the slowest swimmer. The bike ride was nice, but very hilly and you started on a long hill, the first half was mostly up hill, so hard work. The run is 2 laps off road with 2 very steep hills and slippery, about as steep as stairs! So I had to walk up those. I finished 114th out of 221 but I'm not worried about that, I just wanted to complete it. Would do one again.
