ITG 🇮🇸 This is a monthly 10k (October to March). 500ISK to enter (a little over 2 quid). Timing is manual but times are official as the route is measured. Runners collect points for each run, depending on their place in each race. After the last run in March, there are prizes for 1-3 men/women and 39-/ 40 There is also a raffle where you can pick up some lush goodies. Each race counts as one raffle entry so the more runs you do, the more chances you have. It's fun and friendly. There are some bad-ass runners, including the women's Icelandic marathon record holder and one of the top male trail runners IN THE WORLD (finished 9th at 2015 World Championships); there are regular fun-runners like me; and there are some newbies out doing their first 10ks.
