Lisrun Basically an out and back course with a few variations. Followed the promenade most of the way. Started at the north end of St. Annes and went down to windmill at Lytham. There was a strong, cold north wind which was fine on the way down but tough on the way back especially as it was snowing some of the time. I wasn't really dressed for that as it had been sunny all day. Luckily the snow showers blew over quickly and I dried out in the sun. Bizarre start, we started in a small car park and did a loop of the car park before leaving it. The front runners almost ran into the back of the field. Strange not seeing anybody I knew or even any team vests that I had seen before. Two chocolate bars, a banana and a fisherman's friend before the start and pie and peas after the finish. Lovely.
