WillBill Set off a little too quickly and paid for it towards the top of the first climb. Grand run out along the top though. Finished 65th, lack of studs on one shoe not helping on the downhills. Would have been v.pleased with this position in an English champs last year, but this year, it feels slightly below par. Good team performance though.

XB Today I became a fellrunner. Not a good fellrunner, but I finished. I wasn't last, just - 191/196. I planned to start at the back and ease my way into the race. I started right at the back and stayed there. But I had a great time and can only get better. Unless I get worse.
