Running Caz Ten hills in 10miles, loads of mud, ice and more mud and ice. Was the most beautiful morning for a run, everywhere covered in white with the temp at -3 when we got there, it really was the most picturesque place. Brilliant, tough course, friendly marshalls and hills that reminded me of the goat track on the wreckin. Passed loads in the last mile and finished at a pace of 8:24 for the last half mile (where there was only incline and not hill). Took us 2:02, which shows how tougfh it was and was pleased to see in the results that I was only 15mins behind the first sen female without even trying!! (were loads of vet women in before her though). Got a xmas pud for our efforts and I also got a xmas paper wrapped spot prize, which I'm guessing is a Toblerone (triangular prism always a give away ) but would have happily walked away empty handed. It was a run to remember and the scenery really was breath taking
