Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Andrew Cold today (-3 C).The first race I've run in where it stayed below zero the whole race.Still, once you're warmed up,it's not so bad.The racee is two laps of a mostly flat course, there are two hills but nothing serious.I was shocked to go through 5K in 23:26,and though I slowed in the second half,I'm very pleased to get inside 48 minutes. In fact it's a new millennium PB.If anyone is interested in running this 10K series - 3 races in surrey in October,November and December - then go to the runningwithdavid website. The race is usually full by the end of September. One drawback though, there are no markers for each Kilometre.
