John Tovell This was a lovely run out in the Chilterns, one of those organised by local primary school PTAs that seem to be common in this area. The village atmosphere was good and the route picturesque. Parts of the route were single file only and hemmed in by stinging nettles. No room for overtaking - that is my excuse anyway! And Barry C's laconic descriptions of the changes in altitude do not do justice to the hard climb in the last km!

Well, the timing mat failed to pick up my chip and I forgot to stop my garmin at the finish so I have had to estimate my time.

lildude Quite a tough, undulating and mostly offroad 10k race. Very enjoyable and quite scenic through the woods of the area, though I wish I'd known most of it was off road as I'd have worn my Merrells instead. Great small race though with good entertainment afterwards.

Slight misdirection at one point, but nothing severe. Still came out a little over 10k though my watch registered 10.4k.
