Mad Dogs and Englishmen PW, but then again it was well over 30 Degrees C. Relieved to see the fireman with his hosepipe at the end. Toughest 10k anyway, but with the heat, made it twice as hard. PW's all round.

Vicksta VERY Hot and VERY Hilly. Despite that I enjoyed the race and felt I ran well considering the conditions. Was 6th women finisher, and 1st Senior...shame there was no age groupings really cos I would have won!

Vindicator My god this was hot and the hills did not help. Was running pretty well until 5K where I startred to overheat. A nasty Hill at 8K forced me to power walk up - was faster than a runner along side me though. Was dissapointed to be forced to power walk a bit further on as I did not feel areobically tired, just HOT. Put on a good sprint at the end to fend off a rival trying to run me down. Overall very pleased given the conditions.
