bananagirl Quite enjoyed the route despite the puddles and very happy with a pb. Not impressed with the start - firing the gun whilst half the field were still making their way to the start line is a bit poor, and starting 100m back weaving round people still walking will have added quite a bit to my official time (30 seconds!). The muddy splash around the table at the turn was also a bit unnecessary.

Doonhamer Enjoyable race around strathclyde country park. Glad the rain stopped before the start. Think i finished around 10th or 11th but may have caused some confusion as my number didnt arrive through the post in time and the number i as given by the organisers on race orning, i think was someone elses, nr 277 ...oops
