Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Wicked D Didnt get to beat my prediction BUT did beat my PB for a full marathon BUT its an unofficial PB due to this race not being officially measured but given the terrain i can live with that as I hope all those who bet on me can live with the points that you got from this event, with that said my next Full Mara is Mablethorpe 16th September where i will Defo get a new PB even if i dont beat todays time (which I will as i'll leave the prediction as it is) so if you want some more EASY points bet on me at Mablethorpe its an ODDS ON bet.

todays event started at Skegness on sea front car park at 0900 and headed south to Boston along the sea bank as you leave Skegness you go through Gibraltar Point, where you enter Beelzebub's Play ground, were he had set to work his evil Gremlins to create as many uneven surfaces, also gates and styles to hinder innocent people who may be out for a walk let alone RUN for 26 miles

After 5 miles the left hipp and groin strain that i've had for a while now, became almost unbearable BUT i had it on my mind how many Fetchies had placed bets on me for today and stopping never entered my mind (thanks guys, oh and Gals) at mile 20 most runners hit the WALL but me i start thinking about GAMMON steak with pineapple and egg!!!! how weird is that? at 23miles cos i'm carrying groin strain cramp set in big style in my calves but knew if i stopped it would just get worse so plodded on as best as i could, when i crossed the finish line in 4hrs 32mins i also found out i was 24th overall which was better than last year, so i'm a VERY happy Wicked D indeed, next year i'll be back in Beelzebub's play ground BUT only for 3hrs 59mins (or less)
