Simonside Fell Race

Grey Badger Fell race at Thropton show, pre entry gets you into the show for nothing. Only £4 to enter. Steady pull up from show field to top of Simonside and back again. UPDATE. Had a bad race, just nothing in my legs from the start and struggled quite a lot on the uphill sections. Passed a few on the way back down but still felt weak. Haven't trained all week due to infected foot. Finished 17th out of 100.

Lisrun Have done about 170 races, but this was my first fell race. A couple of river crossings, some steep climbs and descents but a lovely day and beautiful countryside. Managed to get off the course, but joined it again a bit later. Lots of cakes at the end :-)
