Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Baza Love this race having been doing it since it was a 5 miler back in the nineties and it's still my fastest 5 miler ever :-) Started well but soon realised my clubmate in front was loosing contact with the group she had been running with, managed to catch her up and got her to tuck in behind me, it also meant slowing down slightly, but watching her shadow meant I knew how hard we were running. We got to the last turn and with the wind behind us worked of each other over the last 1K. Felt I had some good running left in the legs at the end, but my clubmate won the womens race so I was happy in a way tonight.

Lexo Curses thought I nicked in under 19 mins....wind was a bit fierce on the 2 KM to 3 KM and knocks the stuffing out you a bit although its in your favour on the run in. This race is tougher than it should be! nice one for the lift back in to town Fatboarder, and well done on the PB!!

Mr. White YEAAAAH! 54 seconds off my PB :) I am well pleased (suppose the folk that bet on me will be too!) and I met some new Fetchies. Next up is Carluke 10K and then the Corstorphine 5-miiler next Wednesday - gotta love it!

Incidentally, did anyone notice anything odd with their split times for the 4K mark, apparently I ran from 3 to 4K in 3:30, which I doubt....anyone else recording their splits notice something similar?

PentlandPounder PB by 1 min 20, so well pleased, esp given the wind, and fact I've been focussing on distance for the last 8 months.
