LiamS76 wet windy muddy and cold. And the way I went though the stream got my shorts wet. Started steady and picked people off all the way - very pleased to be 12th. I was 25 seconds slower than last year, but 11 places higher. vibrams a bit slippy on the playing field near the end but ok apart from that. Well done to Striders for comprehensively winning league overall.

Mud Rocs Proper x-country race this one with plenty of mud, rain and wind.

PhilB66 Freezing cold, pouring with rain and windy - good traditional cross-country weather! Quite a good course too with a couple of river fordings, the second of which I fell at! Plenty of mud after the recent rain. Would be even better if some of the hard surface (road and track) sections could be eliminated. Finished 19th - significant improvement on Bishop's Stortford, but not sure how much of that was due to those who previously finished ahead of me not being there rather than me actually beating them. In better shape than for B/S, but still struggled when hit the hill before the field crossing and run in; lost 3 places in the last half mile or so.
