Kimberlina Wouldn't have entered this but my mate had never done a race before so I said I would do it with her. Stayed with her the whole way, would have probably been a lot quicker but we had an enjoyable run and I was really nice to experience my friends first race with her.

shoeless What a lovely evening. I thought I would never beat my time initially, as I found it quite tough - particularly as the runners and walkers seemed to be really quite mingled, so I spent quite a time dodging walkers for the first k or two (not that I minded - that's the spirit of the RFL, isn't it!?), and then I thought I'd beaten my time by 30 secs only by putting a sprint on at the end, and as I went through the line I was doing the sums (went across the start at 3'00 and the finish at 37'30) that I realised that I'd smashed it by 87 secs!!
