Snapstinget What a laugh! I didn't realize this was a league fixture. I looked at the other entrants and I could see at once that I'd be finishing last. And I almost did. The people at the back set off at 4:30 per k. I kept my head and within 300 yards I was trailing the entire field by about 70 yards! I reeled a couple in on the second lap but that was about it. I will be back next year for sure -) I also won a spot prize - a paiur of running shorts. But a) they are black and b) they are medium. Both may be hints ...
