NZD Flopped badly :(. Heat, wind & lack of fitness. Some of the review items below are irrelevant. It was a national level meeting on a newly refurbished synthetic track in a stadium! Not age categories at this level! I was though in the bottom, Open grade race (4 higher grades). Oldest finisher in my race other than me was 25 years younger! Last position was never in doubt for me, even if I had bettered my PB by a good margin. Second to last ran 20:45 (45 year age advantage!). I was there only for a PB attempt (flat track!) but failed badly. Over 1.5 mins slower than my parkrun time last week on an undulating course with a few steep inclines!
