batmouse Wow, very hilly, but I enjoyed the run. Had predicted 1:30, but was happy with the time. Princess Purple Baubles kept me going with jelly beans and support:-) Thank you. My trainers will never be the same again. Will be there next year in fancy dress. Cu there Princess???? Even if we don't do mud????

Lisrun Not done this one before, but it looks fun *Update* quite a few uphills in the first 5 miles with one downhill stretch in a very muddy field. One other stretch of offroad (uphill) then a lot of downhill as we went back the way we came. Good atmosphere with many in fancy dress. Pleased with my time and it was good to see lots of other Fetchies !

madaddo Always nice to get halfway round and think that there is no more uphill! Tough race, but brass band, wine and mince pies always make it worth it. Never sure whether to wear road or fell shoes - road shoes usually wins the day, due to the small amount of muddy fields, but can never make my mind up! That said, a well enjoyable race - just do it.

Princess Purple Bubbles apparently based on previous times for various distances I am meant to be able to finish this in about 1:15:30! this is the one occassion....well apart from those at rnr or dear fetchies I have stopped....for the opportunity to see this royal in her pyjamas in public! dont worry they are warm flannelette and VERY SEXY! COMPLETED MISSION-done in the sexy pjs and with monty for company. Tough but enjoyable course raced with Batmouse :) Im not quite sure how I managed to keep going but I did :)
