Gobi Hard work with a cold on an undulating course but job done and 9th place. Well organised race. Plan was to run 6mm but did first 6kms at 5.54 had to drop off the pace at 10km as yacking but picked up well and ran the last 5.1 kms at 5.46 pace. Smart people do not race when ill. I'm an ULTRA RUNNER.

Snapstinget I'd like to say I just jogged this. But I was in a bad state and it was quite tough, though I didn't walk at all and I ran up every slope. Great course, very pretty, chocolate box quality. Fab organization - chip mats at 10 and 20k as well as the start and finish, and this for a race with 500 runners! They served minestorne soup and buns at the end. My chest feels dreadful now. Razxor blades come to mind. It hurts to breathe and cough! Let alone laugh - which there is quite a lot of right now.
