_andy The planned (hoped for!) 20min-19min split ended up as closer to a 20min-21min split as I was passed by a faster runner (and even started behind another) whose pace I couldn't match on the day. Handicapping meant I was quickly behind two faster runners and I knew pretty quickly that I wasn't going to hit a PB time for this. So instead of burying myself completely I eased up slightly and ran a relatively comfortable sub-41 minute time.
