Lisrun Decided to do this race at the last minute. Got there and torrential race was coming down, but it remained dry during the race. An undulating course with some long slow climbs and one or two short sharp climbs. As I had done the Burn Valley half marathon yesterday, I was not expecting a good time and it took a while to shake off the tiredness in my legs. Loveley scenery and good food afterwards.

PipU Tough race, quite hilly felt good for 5 miles then hit the wall, lucky that the last mile is downhill. beat last years time so fairly happy.

stoxy Dear god! Felt cr@p but thought I might be ok. Perhaps would have been if it had been flat but v hilly. Felt sick then had to make a er, pitstop, as it were! Probably could have done better if it was a morning race. But had a lovely day out in North Yorkshire.
