Snapstinget Perfect conditions. No excuses. I felt like I felt last year for most of the race, but finished 2 minutes slower, and I couldn't have chatted to anyone from the 6th to the 9th kilometre! Still, my best 10k this year and my best 5k too (25:17 including a stop for water juts before the 5k marker!) We were sheltered from the strong wind by the woods on the out leg, and had a side wind off the sea/tail wind for the last 4 k. Met Rene (RW Forumite and Abingdon runner) before the race. This has got to be one of the best 10k courses in existence. forest trails, downhill almost all the way (yes, it seems like it). Now I'll have to see if I can do better in Rønne on Friday evening!
