Dochart A sunny but breezy morning for this race from Kewstoke, a couple of miles off M5 J21. Race HQ is the village hall with showers, changing and teas but rather limited parking. The route starts from the beach road and runs a double figure of eight round the lanes,mostly flat but with two short climbs. Distance markers were rather sparse, the roads remained open and there were no water stations, except at the finish. I set off too fast and struggled running into the wind for the two stretches along the beach road but was quite pleased with my time, given the lack of recent training. 78/175

Giantant Hmm, gotta be a slow one I fear with recent neglect of training and Christmas overindulgence. Well a bit faster than my dire prediction. 2 pretty short stiff hills in the middle of the race and a strong wind but otherwsie very nice with sunshine early on.
