Yano My 2nd ever 10k! This race was sponsored by BUPA and took place on the Balmoral Castle estate in stunning scenery. We stayed up the road in Mar Lodge near Braemar. Course is mainly on forest trails. It was blowing through sleet on the start line and I remember feeling under dressed and extremely cold. We had no idea about where to stand, so we were very close to the back of the field and the race wasn't chipped! There was a big field so it took a couple of minutes to cross the start line, and there was then congestion at a bridge early on. A massive hill in the middle of the race was a bit of a test. People also reckoned the course is over 10k. Hence overall the time doesn't look great!
