Club		 PB SB Pred Time WAVA
clairevmc I was 1st female and got an official PB. Very well organised wee run. The weather conditions this morning though were not favourable and the course was incredibly icy. I couldn't even complete my warm up as I was so scared I was going to fall. Took it easy round the slippery course and ran on the grass/mud where I could so I wasn't able to take the racing line. Also pretty much stopped a few times going round corners as it was just too dangerous. A hillier route than I had expected so hopefully the next time I run this I'll be more in line with the time I should be able to get given my 37-min 10K time. Thanks to the organisers and nice to meet rleyton and Eyespy21.

Smout Reckon a PB provided my foot is definitely ok to run and he weather is ok (PB was round Arthur Seat in Great Winter Run so really weather shouldn't play too big a part!). It will be a shock getting there on time from Edinburgh tho - no idea where it is yet. UPDATE - Despite the frost and feeling really rubbish/tired/heavy with no idea how far I still had to go - I PB'd by quite a bit :o) V Happy if still somewhat cold!!
