Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Grey Badger Average run, didn't feel that strong and haven't really done any training for this distance so to get within 7 sec of my PB wasn't too bad.

Heelandcoo Last minute entry! Not been doing that much running lately but hopefully the other training will have kept me fit. Not hoping for an amazing time just want to get round comfortably. (Are 5ks ever comfortable?!) *after race* Enjoyed it! Some of the route was part of my normal training run so felt at home. Started off fairly easy as it was hard to pass people, think that helped keep me going to the end. Pleased with the time, especially for only getting out running once a week.

IanRunner A very fast course. My fastest 5k so very happy!

Lisrun Have not this one before although I have done other races in Exhibition Park. *Update* I should have bet on myself - it was a fast flat course and conditions were pretty good. Very pleased with a new pb. Now to get under 23 min !

Screeners My PB for this is 27 mins 04. If I was running well, I could beat this but I'm not running well so just don't know.
*AFTER RACE* Not a PB but not a PW either. Only 30 secs of last year's time and I was doing much more training last year. Really pushed hard from about 3K marker and by the final 500 metres felt wobbly and very very breathless. But I did it and am I'm pleased. Its given me some confidence back. Was nowhere near last and was nowhere near the last harrier running either which also gave me some confidence. I like this race, it feels very short. Hard but short.
