IanS Good fun race, bit tough in places but a good work out. Started a bit slow and could see Tigger in the distance but never quite managed to catch her :-)

Gogsy! Only 9 miles training in last 2 weeks & snow forecast for Sunday. Could be interesting. Update- 91% Ave HR & touched my max at one point, so I probably ran as well as I could have. Happy with my time which is a fairer reflection on 6k than last year's shorter course. I really like this race & it was good to meet up with the more famous Fetchies on what turned out to be quite a nice afternoon.

LorraineS had hoped to get closer to my 6K PB but the course was quite tough, forest trails where you had to be careful where you put your feet, up-hills in strong cross winds, grass where the underlying surface was lumpy, only the last bit was on park path and I was able to pick my pace up a little then. Never mind - I didn't have to walk at all and it was a pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Met Tigger and the Gogsy clan :-)
