endurance life coastal half marathon

Torbay Held in Beesands village at the Cricket Inn near Kingsbridge Devon.This race was extremely challenging atmospheric and friendly.A multi terrain course undulating and very uneven. lots of very steep narrow rocky paths winding along the coast line to Prawle point. You had to be very careful at certain points as it would have been easy to slip and go over the cliff. After Prawle point we headed in land on deep muddy bridle ways. Spent most of the time just trying to stay upright. Ran up some of the steepest hills they seemed to go on forever. No chance of getting a good time, came 221 out of over 300 so i'm pleased as this was my first half marathon. After the race we were given a much welcome hot meal, a medal and a rather nice long sleeve shirt. I will be back next year
