Boycie Was hoping for a PB but wasn't sure with all the mileage I have been piling up. Fortunately it all went very well and my pacing was once again spot on - slightly downhill and with a tailwind to the turn so an outward split of 9:02 compared to a return of 9:10 was very good. Closing on Speedster all the while until the last 200m, when a tomlinson style look over his shoulder motivated him to kick for home with me pretty close on his heels!!!

long whatton speedster Chased a pb of 17:54 and was spot on at the half way point, then started to suffer dramatically. Hanging on for last mile, chased hard by boycie who is getting too close for comfort. However I was just teasing him!!! I wish, to be honest I didnt have a decent step left in me! Excellent race very enjoyable and a new pb!
