Sweaty Frank The course has been changed this year, and it looks less fast. The nice 3 mile slight downward grade between miles 16 and 19 is gone. On the plus side,gone is the the long westward stretch from mile 19 to mile 23, along the marginal road, exposed to the winds coming off the lake. Not a bad morning for a race, cold and clear, but the winds were very strong and generally across or in our faces.
