CHIN-UP Seahouses Beach Run

Lisrun A lovely run along the beach to Bamburgh and back. Raining when I left home, but it dried up as I traveled north. Cloudy and damp at Seahouses. 68 runners. Very pleased with another personal best time. Finished 20th overall which is unheard of and also won my age category against fierce competition (to be honest I was the only runner in my age category !). Won a running back pack. The outward leg was great with the wind behind us, but it meant it was harder on the way back. Soon after I got back it started to rain quite heavily so it wasn't too good for the later finishers. Well marshaled, I hope they run this again. Personal radio, two cereal bars and drink to all finishers.
