Glynn (The weary bloke behind you!) Went off too quick knowing that this could be a quick course but burnt out too soon and with it being a bit windy I didn't get too much out of it although I nicked a pb again.

Impossible is Nothing Pleased with time - as feared the blowy conditions took enough pace off on what would otherwise have been a PB course I think. Been getting jaded recently so also pleased no long races planned till next year! Course quite pleasant except for some wind but very well run event. A really excellent small scale race. Result: 11th out of 279

Qwerty Hugely, enornmously disappointed. Plodding at nice steady pace when cramp kicked in between miles 8 & 9 on my normally well-behaved right leg. Ran/hobbled/walked the last 4+ miles and missed my PB by 48 secs. Gutted. However, this was a fabulously well-organised race, great marshalls, lovely scenery and I'll be making the 6-mile round trip to run this again next year!
