Glevum Runner Told to run under 9 hours as apparently this is proposed future target to run for Wales at 100km. I had stomach problems and a blister which forced shoe change and repair work. Lost my big toe nail after wards. Pleased with way I ran, but all the usual problems I have with races over the marathon distance. Think I have now solved problems with change of drink and special socks. Thanks to William Sichel and Phil Adams respectively. So next year aiming for sub 8:45:00 to qualify for Commonwealth Games.

Matt the Brum Really shouldn't have raced this. Calf problems flared up in the second 50km but ibuprofen helped to keep me going. Finished the race but resulted in a week on crutches and 3months off running. Live and Learn.
