Enigma First time I've run this and I really enjoyed it. Very happy with my run.
It was chilly at the start but that was soon forgotten as the hills started. Not too muddy and my new trail shoes coped well with the conditions.
A great event and well attended by the club members.

Fat Boy This was the 16th edition of the Carnegie Harriers Festive Forest Run which is held over a tough 7 mile course near Kelty in Fife. This year's race attracted 47 club members who all opted for the pleasures of forest trails, hills and mud in preference to Xmas shopping. I was delighted to get round the route injury free in a steady 50.25 (20th overall) and hope to kick start my training / racing from here.

jp105 Really good club event. Paid the price for trying to keep with the eventual race winner in the opening miles and suffered on the hills. Great turn out and some lovely ginger punch afterwards.

Plussing As Which Was looking forward to this run as I love the route but struck down earlier in the week with cold from hell and was unsure how I would cope. Pleased with my run despite the torrent of snot and slightly wheezy breathing. Finished 2nd lady and 16th overall. Seems to have kicked the last of my cold into touch too!

Steiny Excellent conditions for the clubs Festive Forest Run.As before a lightning start made by all to be followed by some very testing hilly sections.Opted to take the racing lines through the mud and puddles.Rewarded with a pb by 14 seconds. And 19th place overall.

SueW Great day for the race, not too muddy and slippy underfoot. I ran my own race today and didn't push too hard so I was very pleasantly suprised to set a PB by 21 secs.
