Marcus Much better weather than last week! Nice flat course, not a huge field, ideal for a PB really. Found the first 3 or 4 K very comfortable at just faster than target pace, then the matter of this being my 5th race in 4 weeks seemed to have an impact as I got tired. My body told me to get off the road and stop at 7K but luckily the mind was stronger and I just made it under the 40. At last!! No-one to draft off for about the last 3K which made it harder but now I've beaten the 40 I've got something to wrok off next time, when hopefully I won't be so tired!
