Alex Patton 5/61 - really enjoyed this little race. It's a very low-key event but a good, varied xc course through the woods and open fields of Spring Park. I felt good on the first lap and was sitting 5th but the hill on the second lap really did for me and with a stich coming on I dropped a place. Managed not to let the distance grow too much though and pulled off a sprint finish to get into the top 5 placings for the first time. Felt like I could have pushed a bit harder but wasn't really in the zone today. Very well organised and a great spread afterwards too!
