Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Andy 1 shoe Money i felt rough before the start, coming down with manflu.:( and the cold and pouring rain didn't help matters. so i took it steady for the first half a mile and sat on the leading pack i then pushed on taking my rival vet with me. we pushed on and i managed to shake him off on the last lap and i went on to win by around 10 seconds. really happy with the win and to win at 45 is fantastic! plus i set a v45 course pb and my fastest 5k for around 4 months. :)

About this parkrun

Two laps of a town park on tarmac paths. Flat (16m elevation gain). Free parking.
Sigh 2nd Jan 2019

Two lap course on tarmac paths. A very popular run but paths cope for the most. Steady up and downs can drain the energy but a fast time is possible.
Mr J 2nd Jan 2019

Fairly flat tarmac 2(ish) lapper. Parking free but restricted timings. Toilets at Morrisons nearby. Gets big numbers, and seeds the start to help with this.
Chingwakabungya 27th May 2019

Flat and fast but very busy course. They try to seed and advisable to heed advice if chasing a time. Tarmac two lapper and it's a box to tick if in the area. Parkring in various locations. Struggle to find a loo!

Gorgously manicured park, fairly flat and well paved, with a nice pond to look at on the way round

Very pleasant course. Consists of two laps. Quite a busy parkrun but plenty of room on the paths.
