Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Snapstinget Boo is my witness (as is Antbliss, and indeed Gobi) that I said I was going to do 25 minutes. And that is exactly what I did. I started with Antbliss but we were doing about 4.40 per k as we went round the first bend and headed up the hill, and I told Antbliss that I could tell I wasn't going to do better than 25 minutes so he should leave me. He muttered about picking up his daughter for a lap and as we passed Mrs Antbliss on the camera I sent him on his way :-) I had a funny kind of run. I was never stressed but I simply could not push my pace up. It's this business of missing 5th gear. However, at no time did I feel like stopping. I was beaten by a lady who overtook me about 400 yards from the line and she beat me by 9 seconds: I tried to give her a bit of a challenge but to no avail. Se had been aiming to pick me off for some time and she succeeded. However I didn't swear at her!
My next BHTT is on 13 Dec.

The great dollop Started off with Snapstinget and let the course come to us. First main hill was ok so went a tad faster, then last hill went a bit more into the finish for the last 1k. even paced for me - usually go off far too fast so thanks Snaps ! Just working through the race photos Mrs AntBliss took, will be on the park run website soon...
