Kaine What a super day. All went terrifically well, swim was good, felt strong on the bike and transitions went without problems. Only mild disappointment was the slow run split. Despite taking on a bar and a gel through the bike stage I was running out of steam on the run with pace slowly rising through the last 5kms. The overall time counts, and I was under my season goal for my 'A' race, so I can't be anything other than thrilled.
