Adders First track race of the year. Trained and prepared fairly well whilst being unsure about which of the two major middle distance races to specialise in. Was aiming to go under 4 mins 30 for 1500. Despite 4:35 reflecting some middle distance progression, I did not do myself justice with this race. First lap was a quick 69 secs but I slowed down too much in the next two laps giving myself too much to compensate for in the final lap. This race helped me decide to firmly commit to 800m but I was not to know that this race was actually going to be my only track race of the year. Overall race rating: 4/10
